At LCCFM we take our responsibilities to Health and Safety very seriously. All our staff are fully trained and educated on health and safety issues, their responsibilities to themselves, their colleagues and our clients.

We implement new Health and Safety objectives each year, with a view to identifying and reducing areas of potential risk through our structured management programmes. Each of our clients is provided with Site Specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements detailing safe working practices. Site packs are prepared by our Operations Support teams and training delivered by our Operations Managers. All site packs contain COSHH assessments and data sheets, Methods Statements and Risk Assessments in addition to site specific documentation.
To demonstrate our Occupational Health & Safety commitment we:
  • We have chosen biodegradable and non-toxic cleaning products that are classified as having minimal effect on the environment. One example of this is the use of orange oil based products instead of industrial solvent based.
  • We have introduced the use of high pressure steaming equipment, which eliminates the use of chemicals where possible. This has the added benefit of sanitising surfaces as well as cleaning them.
  • Our vacuum cleaners have a 4 stage HEPA filtration system that removes 99.9% of all air particulates and reduces allergens.
  • We use micro-fibre cloths and mops instead of cotton or paper. Micro-fibre is a scientific weave that is more effective at removing dust, dirt, germs and grease, reducing chemical use. Micro fibre cloths last longer than traditional cloths, are more cost-effective and reducing environmental impact.
